Sharing a Slice of Paradise with my Friends

Jason, Miki, Ski, Dan, Junto, Sandy, and I all met and spent a night in Manila. Having to repack everything to fit the 10 kg limit wasn't easy - but we were all really excited to head to Boracay in the morning!


After waiting in the terminal for 2 hours, we finally took a small plane from Manila to a small island called Caticlan...


Then hopped on a ferry to Boracay...


Then took a shuttle bus to...


Our beautiful beachside resort!


Being all together again was so nice :)


Look at the beautiful white sand and clear turquoise waters!


The resort accommodations were so nice and the food was delicious!


At dusk, tons of people hop onto sailing boats and float into the sunset. Everything looked golden and peaceful.


We actually had the best rooms on the resort; right by the pool and steps away from the beach. But this is the view from the upper rooms at Discovery Shores.


The first night, we headed to Terminal 2 - D'Mall area for dinner and drinks. Lots of touristy shops and to our disappointment, mostly western touristy foods.


But we still managed to find some fresh mangos!





After walking around we sat down for dinner.





And then headed back to the resort to get some rest.
